CB authorization

In accordance with article 7 paragraph. 2 of the Act of 12 September 2002 on the standardization (OJ 2010, No 198, item 1316), President of the Polish Committee for Standardization may authorize Certification Bodies to issue PN certificates and grant to the Organizations the right to use the Mark.

Rules for such authorization are determined in the  "Rules of cooperation between Polish Committee for Standardization and authorized Certification Bodies in the scope of product certification for compliance with the Polish Standard and issuing PN certificates."
The Certification Body interested in obtaining the authorization of the PKN President shall submit to the Certification Department an application for empowering.

Polish Committee for Standardization publishes a list of empowered Certification Bodies.
