PN Certificate for conformity of ISMS to the Polish StandardPN-ISO/IEC 27001
Polish Committee for Standardization offers PN certificate for organizations interested in confirmation their information security management system to the requirements of PN-ISO/IEC 27001, hereinafter referred as ISMS PN Certificate.
ISMS PN Certificate may be necessaryas a vital element in a process of obtaining a PN Certificate for services (products) and marking them with PN Mark. It is important when a security of information has an impact onensure continuity compliance services (products) with the specified requirements.
ISMS PN Certificate informs the potential customer or business partner about the fulfilment of standards requirements by the holder of the ISMS PN Certificate. It also informs that the organization - holder of the ISMS PN Certificate can ensure full protection and safety of information (entrusted to the organization by client).
Polish Committee for Standardization has information security management system experts. PKN experts have competence to provide advanced services in the field of information security basedon standards:
The competence of the above PKN experts/specialists are confirmed by certificates of "Information Security Manager" and "Information Security Auditor".
Ordinance No 40 President PKN of 31 July 2009 specifies rules of applying for ISMS Certificate PN and issuing of ISMS PN Certificate by PKN.
A PKN proceeding (as a third party) is similar to provisions Auditing instructions and issuing of ISMS Certificate of use which is used respectively.
The instructions provide a uniform rules for PKN in conducting the auditing process and include requirements for organization interested in ISMS PN Certificate.
